Catalyst and heat of formation

Post by parisnicole1989 »

Ok..so if a compound has a heat of formation of +34.1 kcal/mol, then what is implied about its stability? Also...How does a catalyst affect the overall energy change for a reaction? Thanks guys!

Since you have put heat in the product will be less stable. The catalyst has no effect of the overall energy change.
In Physical Chemistry experiments must be reproducible, they should fail the same way each time
