suppose you start an experiment with 28.5 ml of air in a syringe and 0.0 ml of water. At the end of the experiment, 6.0 ml of water have entered the syringe. What is the percent by volume of oxygen gas in your air sample?

That one is really rather simple. At the end of the experiment you have only 22.5 ml in the syringe. So you just take that and divide it by the total which is 28.5. So... 22.5 divided by 28.5=?
