Hey, I am working on a homework assignment and I need help. The question is to balance the chemical equation of aqueous hydrogen chlorite decomposes to produce water and gaseous chlorine(III)oxide. But the problem is, when I tried looking up what the formula for chlorine(III)oxide is, it only came up as chlorate which is ClO₃. is that what it is? Or is the formula something else? This is frustrating me and it is due within the next couple of days.

Chlorine can form a lot of oxides.

Chlorine-III-oxide is Cl₂O₃

2 HClO₂ => Cl₂O₃ + H₂O
