As₂S₃ +Ca(HCO₃)₂ + H₂O = ?????

As₂S₃ and Ca(HCO₃)₂ are as mixed powders and are going to solve in water

Arsenic sulfide is not solouble and Calciumhydrogencarbonate is not existing as a powder. It can only made by adding carbondioxide in excess to a solution of calciumcarbonate or calcium hydroxide.

So there will be not much reaction.
Therotically calcium thioarsenite Ca₃(AsSxOy)₂ x =0,1,2,3; y = 3-x can be a result.

Actually I made a mistake
It is CaCO₃ (Lime) not Ca(HCO₃)₂.

In fact it is a big health issue in my region
I am a doctor and in my region this compond is widely used.

It consist of 6 part CaCO₃ and one part As₂S₃ powder mixed together.
at time of use ( for body hair removal ) they add water and make a paste of it and put it on skin.
The powder mixture has no odor at all but when water added a strong odor of H₂S fills the space, so I think in presence of CaCO₃, air CO₂ and H₂O , As₂S₃ may has a reaction resulting in H₂S production and probably some arsenic component soluble in water which can be toxic.

I need to know what is the reaction and end products as well as the balanced equation

your help would be great for a lot of people.

The problem is that arsenic compound is used. It will be the root course.

The result of the reaction I had given

Therotically calcium thioarsenite Ca₃(AsSxOy)₂ x =0,1,2,3; y = 3-x can be a result.

3 CaCO₃ + As₂S₃ => Ca₃(As₂S₃O₃) + 3 CO₂

Sulfur and Oxygen can be exchanged what guides to the smell of H₂S by water

Ca₃(AsS₃)₂ until Ca(AsO₃)₂ is possible.
The arsenic compunds with oxygen are more solouble and will penetrate through the skin and poisson the body.

Stopp using arsenic compounds for cosmetic purpose!!!!!

We as doctors recommend new Arsenic free products but they insist that Arsenic has good health effect for body !!!
We have to inform the superstitious people.
They believe inhaling that bad odor fights lung cancer.
Our health ministry also forbided Arsenic for cosmetic use.
