Yes that is what I am saying. In your AuO2 it has 4 this is not existing.

Ok , Water can break Au, 3+ , but not Au,2+. However material could has various although O ion -1,-2 to stable for forming of rock.

Please, you can think in natual rock has AuO, AuO2 , AuO3 , uncerteinly .

May be the heat form valcano various ! Depend on distance form center of bomber.

Gold is existing as Au.

Electron configuration: [Xe] 4f 14 5d 10 6s 1

So there can only be Au+ and Au3+

You compound would suggest to have Au2+ , Au4+ and Au6+

Not existing.

Please also stop here the discussion about nonsense.
