Solid State NMR

Post by ray123 »

Hi all,

I have some problem with the SOlid State NMR. I have a few simple questions here:

1. I did the most on 11B solid state NMR and several peaks can be observed from the spectra. So, how do i distinguish which peak correspond to which chemical environment since multinuclear NMR is different with the regular carbon and proton NMR.

2. For eg, BO3 give a peak at 17.9ppm in 11B NMR. So can i assume that my compound which has a peak around 17.8ppm has a identical chemical environment to that of BO3?

Thank you.
