Can someone please explain how to figure out this question:
Find the heat absorbed by 320g of water that is heated from 24 to 67 degrees celcius.

Heat absorbed is equal to =
Mass x specific capacity of the substance x temperature change
Therefore ur answer would be=
420 x 4.2 (for water) x 43= 75852 joules or 75.852 KJ
You should note that even though specific heat caapcity of water is in terms of Kelvin but we didnt not change the temperature units when considering the difference because in either case (celsius or Kelvin, difference is same)
