chemical equation

why is it not possible to balance this following equation???

H2SO4 + NH3OH = (NH4)2SO4 + H2O

Because instead of NH3OH you shoud have NH4OH:
H2SO4 + 2 NH4OH = (NH4)2SO4 + 2 H2O
