Completing and Balancing reactions help?

Post by babygirl_15 »

Can you please help me?

First how do I know if there is no reaction?
(I don't have my notes with me, I left them in my locker, so I feel really dumb right now and can't find it on the internet)

Also do these balance okay

Cr2(CO3)3 = 2Cr + 3CO3

Cu + AgNO3 = CuNO3 + Ag (Copper I)

Thank you so much in advance
I'm just a HS student who doesn't understand Chemistry!

I dont know how to answer the first part of your question, but I might be able to help you with the balancing.

Cr2(CO3)3==>2Cr+3CO3 works

Cu+AgNO3==>CuNO3+Ag works also but Im pretty sure that Ag is Silver, and Copper is Cu, or something like that. But I could be wrong.
