What have I got

I would like to know what gas is produced by adding C2H4 and water.
At the moment I'm not exactly sure that this is the chemical being added to the water, but if it is confirmed I'll be a step ahead.
Is this gas flammable as it is being used in an environment that is not conducive to flammable materials.

C2H4 (ethylene) is by itself a flammable gas and it does not react with water.
