need ionic equation and explanation if possible for
Cu(ClO4)2 + Na2S --> 2NaClO4 + CuS

Thanks!!!!!!!

I'm kinda new at this stuff, but we talked about this in class today
the charges have to be balanced Cu is a 2+ ClO4 is a 1- (so there is 2 of them to balance the copper) Na is a 1- (so there is 2 of those to balance the S) S is a 2- ..... using the ax + by = ay + bx double displacement method you get the balanced equation ....
Cu 2+ + (ClO4)2 2-S 2+ = 2Na 2+ ClO4 2- + Cu 2+ S 2-

*charges in bold and the cations are first, as always

i hope this is more helpful than confusing... :?
