Re: Iron (III) Oxide + Sodium Sulfate = ??
If Fe2(CrO4)3 is not well soluble:Thermos14 wrote:We were doing precipitation reactions in lab, and when a few drops of Fe(NO3)3 was added to a few drops of Na2S, the solution turned black. I keep trying to balance this equation but i can't. I haven't done chemistry in a long time and i keep forgetting the basics.
Oh, also Fe(NO3)3 + K2CrO4 = ?
Thanks a bunch.
UPDATE: I got the first one 2Fe(NO3)3 + 3Na2S = Fe2S3 + 6NaNO3.
I still have no idea with the Potassium Chromate. Please help!
Code: Select all
2 Fe(NO3)3 + 3 K2CrO4 = Fe2(CrO4)3 + 6 KNO3
