Balancing UDMH with N2O4. HELP

Post by mimsy »

__H2N-N(CH3)2(l) + __N2O4(l) = __CO2 (g) + __H20(g) + __N2 (g)

I've tried multiple times to balance this one but each one is unbalanced. The only thing I've figured out is 2 N2O4 is right.

Also, no idea what's going on with H2N-N(CH3)2(l). not sure what that means

Its an Oxidation.

H2N-N(CH3)2(l) + 2 N2O4(l) = 2 CO2 (g) + 4 H2O(g) + 3 N2 (g)
