Please help me with optically activity of cis trans isomer
Can someone help me explain why the answer is B? Why is trans isomer with chiral carbon optically active?

B and D have chirality Center in the glycerol unit, because 4 different substituents.

Its B , because it asked for trans fat. D is the cis fat.

Oh yeah, oic, so the ‘trans’ in trans fat is trans isomer. Thanks for letting me know. Haha, never thought of it. Thanks!
