Unknown products (once again)

Post by kingon »

Once again I ask whether someone has an idea how to finish this reaction. Thanks in advance for help.
[Cd(NH3)4](OH)2 + (NH4)2S = CdS + ...

[Cd(NH3)4](OH)2 + (NH4)2S = CdS + 6 NH3 + 2 H2O

Maybe we should check if the reaction is an exothermic reaction. If yes, there will be NH3. If not, there will be only NH3·H2O left in the solution.

It was the question which products are formed, there is more NH3 as H2O. It was not told if everything takes place in water.
If so it would be
Cd(NH3)4](OH)2 + (NH4)2S + 4 H2O => CdS + 6 NH3* H2O
