Mass relationship in chemical reaction identifying limiting reagents

Post by Niñafaith »

Silver metal reacts to sulfur to form silver sulfide according to the following reaction:

2Ag(s) + S(s) Ag2S(s)

A. Identify the limiting reagent if 50.0g Ag is reacts with 10.0g S...

1.Calculate the mol of silver and sulfur.
2. According the chemical reaction 2 mol Ag react with 1 mol S.
3. Compare the both values , do you find the same or what is the ratio?
