Chemical Reagents

Post by bmchemistry »

Chemical reagent is a term used to refer to mixtures of chemical compounds or their solutions that have been prepared for use in laboratory work. Chemical reagents are used in laboratory work as expected.

The chemical reagent - depending on the intended use - may have certain parameters:
  • the purity of the substance,
    • intentional pollution,
      • the way of confection,
        • the designated shelf life.
Importantly, chemical reagents require the use of packaging and storage conditions adapted to ensure the degree of consistency of the chemical composition required in the intended laboratory applications.
