E1, E2 and SN1 and SN2

Hi, is there anyway or trick to differentiate E1, E2, SN1 and SN2 reaction. How to identify these reaction effectively?

Not really. It depends on the environment. E and SN take place in comparsion. Depending of substituents E1 or E2 and SN1 or SN2.

What happens if you treat CH2H5Br with NaOH.
And also (CH3)3CBr + NaOH

first one is SN2 and second one is SN1 correct?

Yes, I told the environment has influence. Also temperature, pressure, pH and the molecule itself, primary or sec. or tert. I and M effect of substituents and more.
For example cook ethanole with sulfuric acid. What products do you get. 3 possibilities. Which mechanism.
