Hi everyone I have an assignment on the solubility of sugar in different liquids. How do I create/ what are chemical equations for
1) sugar + oil
2) sugar + rubbing alcohol
3) sugar + water

Dissolving something in a liquid is a physical process. That is not chemical. So no equation available.

That's weird. This was the question the lecturer gave.
"Write an equation representing the solubility of sugar in the different solvents (3 marks)"
