Disulfide Bridges Forming On A Monomer
I was wondering if anyone could help with designing a surrogate molecule. I am to design a Styrene Butadiene polymer with disulfide bridges. I have calculated that there are 12 monomers required with only one disulfide bridge (two sulfur atoms). My question really is where does the disulfide bridge go

Re: Disulfide Bridges Forming On A Monomer
The Copolymer of styrene and butadiene has only one double bond left. If vulcanisation takes place sulfur can only attack this double bond either in ring or crosslink.
