What is the difference between ghostwriting and freelance writing?

Post by jasonlava »

Not much to be true. Ghostwriting is like freelance writing. The only difference is the identity of the writer is always kept hidden and the written work is published in the name of the owner (person or company who hired the Ghostwriter). In the case of freelance writing, it depends on the owner. The work can be published in the name of the writer or the owner, depending on their agreement. However, in the case of Ghostwriting it is not up for discussion

To define it in easy words ghostwriting is the type of writing where the content being published is not owned by the writers own name. They could be writing for someone else or just willingly not ok with putting up their content with their own name. Whereas a freelance writer gets paid and gets to write their name under their written book or content. There are so many books written by writers without mentioning their names. It all depends on the owner of the company. They can publish using their own name or can mention the writers name as well.

Ghostwriting has not be used in scientific publications. The work in science hast to be published from the people who did the work. This goes down to the work on school. The homework should done from the students not from a Ghostwriter.
