Good evening! Can somebody please help me!!
Apply balanced chemical equations (full or ionic) for such reactions. - provide balanced equations for:
Condensation
Hydrolysis
Addition
With regards to carbohydrates, lipids and proteins

Re: Equations
Condensation you get by build up of ethers, esters or amids.
Hydrolysis is the other way around
Addition is in this context not known.

Re: Equations
Condensation and hydrolysis applies to peptide, glycosydic and ester bonds (H2O is sideproduct).
About addition reaction, it is possible to some proteins:
Hgb + O2 ----> Hgb-O2
or
Hgb + CO ----> Hgb-CO
(Hgb - hemoglobine)
