The reaction goes in opposit. The equilibrium is on left side 100%.

KNO3 is a salt obtained by the combination of HNO3 and KOH (acid base reaction) as both acid and base are strong the reaction goes to completion with the evolution of heat energy of 13.7 Kcal/mol.
Now we know that any salt on dissolving in water it simply dissociates into its constituent ions, so when we add water to KNO3 we will get potasium and nitrate ions in solution.
