I have a piece of equipment that has the following liquid chemicals CH₃COOH + HF + HNO3 they were leaking onto a pump with an aluminum body. the end result is a white crystalline substance that is bonded to the cabinet. the cabinet is constructed from PFA. this stuff is bonded so well that I have to use a chisel to remove it. can anyone tell me what this stuff is?

Is the balanced chemical equation for the above chemical reaction correct?

3 HF + 2 HNO3 + 3 CH3COOH + 6Al → 2 Al2O3 + AlF3 + AlC6H9O6 + 4 H2 + N2

NO. Dont use the solver without knowledge what is going on.

The main reaction is the redox reaction Al and HNO3

HNO3 + 3 H+ + 3e- => NO + 2 H2O Reduction

2 Al + 3 H2O => Al2O3 + 6 H+ + 6 e- Oxidation

2 Al + 2 HNO3 => Al2O3 + 2 NO + H2O summery

The oxid is able to react with HF or CH3COOH.
