The following reactin are molecular style. Write them as a net ionic equation

2 FeCl3(aq) +3 Li2CO3(aq)--> Fe2(CO3)3(s)+6 LiCl (aq)

I need this for homework, any help is appreciated :)

Which product will be solid?
The ions of that have to been used.

To write the net ionic equation, we need to first write the balanced molecular equation and then identify the spectator ions to eliminate from the equation.

The balanced molecular equation is:
2 FeCl3(aq) + 3 Li2CO3(aq) --> Fe2(CO3)3(s) + 6 LiCl(aq)

To write the net ionic equation, we need to identify the ions that are actually involved in the reaction and eliminate the spectator ions (ions that do not participate in the reaction and remain unchanged throughout the reaction).

The complete ionic equation is:
2 Fe^3+(aq) + 6 Cl^-(aq) + 6 Li^+(aq) + 3 CO3^2-(aq) --> Fe2(CO3)3(s) + 6 Li^+(aq) + 6 Cl^-(aq)

The spectator ions are Li^+ and Cl^-. These ions appear on both sides of the equation and do not participate in the reaction.

Therefore, the net ionic equation is:
2 Fe^3+(aq) + 3 CO3^2-(aq) --> Fe2(CO3)3(s)
