Using reference table G

1) How many grams of KClO₃ are needed to saturate 50 grams of water at 90 degrees C?

2) If 60 grams of NaNO₃ are dissolved in 100 grams of water at 20 degrees C, how many additional grams of NaNO₃ are needed to saturate the solution at 60 degrees C?

Read the curve.
In 1. case the intersection of the curve of KClO₃ at 90 °C will be at 52 g. The question asks for 50 g water so its about the half 26 g.
In 2. case the intersection at 60 ° C of NaNO₃ is at 125 g . 60 g is already in, so add 65 g more.
