For the given balanced reaction: Ca3(PO4)2 + 3 SiO2 + 5 C → 3 CaSiO3 + 5 CO + 2 P
1) How many moles of silicon dioxide are required to react with 0.35 mol of carbon?
2) How many moles of calcium phosphate are required to produce 0.45 mol of calcium silicate?
How to answer both these questions?
Answers provided by author are 1) 1.05 mole of Silicon dioxide(SiO2)
2) 0.15 ol of Calcium Silicate(Ca3(PO4)2
I don't understand how these answers are computed?

No. 1 is wrong
The ratio between carbon and silicondioxide is 5:3 what means 0.35 mol C correspond to 0.21 mol SiO2.
No. 2 is correct
