Fehlings test with pentanal
I have to write down the reaction equation of the Fehlings test done with pentanal, but I'm not really sure how to do it. C5H10O + CuSo4NaOH was my idea, but it doesn't seem to be right. Id be super grateful if someone could help me

Re: Fehlings test with pentanal
I would write down the redox reaction from Cu 2+ to Cu2O and from RCHO to RCOO-
First to mentioned the tatratic alcaline complex with copper.
