If you put a very shallow dish of water in a pan of alcohol and blow air over it by means of a electric fan, the water will freeze...why?

What is the answer?

This is physics. The vaporising of the alcohol needs energy. This will taken from the environment. The surrounding water will getting colder until it freezes.
The same you have if you go swimming outside. If you go out of the water and you get not dried by a towl, you feel very cold. The water vaporise and suck the energy out of the body.
