10 Na + 2 KNO3 -> K2O + 5 Na2O + N2

What type of reaction would this be?

If you compare oxidation numbers on both sides of the equation. What do you find?

Sorry, I'm guessing because I have no idea, but would I be wrong if I said the oxidation numbers are -2 on both sides? I hope this doesn't sound stupid, I really don't know xD

Is it a reduction reaction or something?

Do you have chemical knowlwdge?
On left side Na is 0
K +1
N +5
O -2

On right side
K +1
O -2
Na +1
N 0

It is called a redox reaction. Nitrogen change from + 5 to 0
Sodium from 0 to +1

thank you for the help, I just watched a video to understand redox reactions :) I'm still learning btw
