In the acid process, ammonia is reacted with formaldehyde to form hexamethylenetetramine, which is subsequently treated with hydrogen cyanide in sulfuric acid to yield triscyanomethylamine. The cyano-intermediate is then saponified with sodium hydroxide to form Na3NTA.

Can anyone help me with chemical equation for (hexamethylenetetramine react with hydrogen cyanide in sulfuric acid to yield triscyanomethylamine).

( CH2)6N4 + 6 HCN + H2SO4 => 2 N(CH2CN)3 + (NH4)2SO4

N( CH2CN)3 + 3 NaOH + 3 H2O => N(CH2COONa)3 + 3 NH3
