Need help fast

Post by shadowgam3r »

My teacher had our class do a lab in which we reacted magnesium metal with hydrochloric acid to form magnesium chloride and hyrdogen gas. I found out how many grams I should have recovered .822 grams of magnesium chloride, but instead I recovered .990 grams. My teacher wants us to include 2 errors during the experiment that would have made our amount recovered different than what we actually recovered. I can't think of any reasons, someone please help.
