How do I work this equation balancing question?

Post by cockadoodledo57 »

Solid potassium metal reacts with water, giving a solution of potassium hydroxide and releasing hydrogen gas. Write a balanced equation for the reaction using complete formulas for the compounds with phase labels. (Type your answer using the format CO2 for CO2. Use the lowest possible coefficients.)
(s) + (l) → (aq) + (g)
