Calculating alkalinity from pH and pCO2

Post by clintr »

Dear ChemForum Members,

I am attempting to calculate the alkalinity of water over a range of CO2 partial pressures (0.001 - 0.1 atm). I have pH values and pCO2 values but am unsure how to calculate the alkalinity for a given pH and pCO2 value. Can anyone help step me through this question?

Kind regards,

Clint :)
