Hi! I was wondering if anybody could help me with figuring out the chemical equation of synthesis of phenacetin? I know it is Acetaminophen + Iodoethane = Phenacetin. But we are using NaOH and DMSO also, so where does that go in the chemical equation? And how do you balance that? Thank you!
