Photosensitive reaction

Post by Zmann0 »

Could a reaction be self sustaining with ample UV, 1 unit of NaH, 1 Unit NaCl, 2 units HCl all are anhydrous

1. NaCl + HCl = NaH + Cl2
2. NaH + HCl = NaCl + H2
3. H2 + Cl2 = 2 HCl
Given that the last reaction is photosensitive with enough sunlight in a closed vessel could this reaction constantly repeat itself?
Or would something mess it up?

The first one is not possible. Hydrid is very reactive. The second one works. The third one will get explosion.
