reaction between urea and HCl

i get the confusion with this reaction :
urea + HCl-->???

(NH₂)₂CO + HCl -->

i found this case in my reseach, i concern in extraction fatty acid omega 3 method inclusion urea.
the chart describes to add a litle of HCl...
in other article, i read that urea and HCl will precipitae if reaction happened. so please, help my problems
