Re: I need any help I can get
Develop
Si + 4 NaOH => Na4SiO4 + 2 H2
1 mol Si corresponds to 2 mol H2
2.24 l H2 was obtained . Convert this to mol . The half of the result will be the mole of silicon. Convert this to the mass.

Re: I need any help I can get
For the first one develop the chemical equation. How much hydrogen correspond to how much mole silicon. From the given volume hydrogen you can calculate the mole of it and also themole of Si. The weight is then calcuĺated from this. Number 2 refer to cross rule. 22 .....10 weight part ......10 0.......

Re: Homework help
For the first one develop the chemical equation, C2O4 2- and MnO4- are the start point If you have the equation read how many mole oxalate refers to how many mole permanganate. With this ratio you can calculate with the given samples. Read the Winkler method https://chemistry.stackexchange.com/quest...

Salt is a generell name. Compounds made with a metal cation and an acid rest as negative anion are called salts.

Re: define the mass from PH
You can not, because water and dissociation degree has an influence.
But for strong acids with 100% dissociation like HCl you can astimate.
pH = - log of cH+ ~ cHCl

Re: Redox reactions: Metal displacements
No, the reducing metal is the reducer or called reducing agent. In first case its Zinc. Zinc lose more easier electrons to go to Zn 2+ as copper it does.
That is meant in the highlighted chapter.

Re: what is organic and inorganic reation?
Organic chemistry is general the chemistry of carbon and the chemistry of living matrery execept a few compound like carbon oxides, carbonate, cyanat, thiocyanat, cyanid.
The rest of the PSE is inorganic chemistry. There is a bridge of metal organic compounds between.
