Re: help 2

Convert the AgCl to mol , read the mol of KCl and convert back to mass of KCl.

Compare the with crued product.

Re: concentration

The reaction equation please submit.
Calculate the mole in the 16 ml. Same like in the other exercise.
According the reaction equation read the mol of NaOH and then calculate it with the volume of 25 ml

Re: limiting

You have the ratio 2: 5: 6

Convert each 15 g to the mol by using molar mass

Compare the ratio. The lowest number is the limiting reagent.

Re: help

Calculate how many mol BaCl2 you have in 6,5 ml.

0,1 mol =1 l is equal to x mol in 6,5 ml.

The result convert to chloride.

Re: Acid Catalyzed Esterification

This is not a matter of a balance calculator. Its more to have the right knowledge whats going on.

The basic here is (CH3CO)2O + ROH => CH3COOR + CH3COOH

Please dont post this kind of nonsense.
Read how esters normaly are made. The sulfuric acid is catalyst and is not nominal involved.

Re: Acid Catalyzed Esterification

Please write formula with functional groups. Your equation is wrong.
Vanilin is a Phenol derivate. So the ester can only happen at the OH group.

Re: Stoichiometry % Yields and Reactants

For a) you calculate the mol of 405g PCl3 and according the equation you calculate how much Chlorine and phosphorous you need. Then you calculate the 100g P4 and 100 l Cl2 and compare. Dont forget the stiochometric factors. n =m/M, n = mass/ molar mass. b) is the difference of the theoretic and prac...

Re: How to clean up dried hydrochloric acid residue?

I didnt get it. Where are the residues. You said you dumbed the bottle already at the hazardous waste disposal? HCl will not create residues in the bottle, if its clean. Outside it can react with every metal in the trunk. So this will be chlorides. This can be removed by washing with soap water. Its...
