Re: AP Chem help needed
a. The given equation is not balanced. Also charges are missing. Tipp: in neutral solution Oxidation is done by Adding of OH- and gaining H2O .The reduction is vise versa. If you have the right equation read how many mol H2O2 correspond to Permanganat. Your mixture is equimolar! b. Use molar volume ...

Calculate the mole of Chrome trichloride hexa hydrate by using molar mass. This is equal of moles of Chrome III. This is dissolved in 250 ml. An aliquot 21.3 ml was taken. How much moles correspond to it and diluted to 50 ml. Get the concentration for it. In my knowledge EDTA make a 1:1 COMPLEX. May...

Re: I need help for this reactions
To 1. You have not the right tool mechanically and also not the right chemical. It is impossible to do in this way. To 2. The recation what you wrote goes in opposit direction. Al(OH)3 + KHSO4 + H2SO4→AlK(SO4)2 + 3H2O and AlK(SO4)2 →Al 3+ + K+ + 2 SO4 2-, that is the dissociation I told before. The ...

Re: I need help for this reactions
Why should it happen. 1. What is your purpose or benefit for it? 2. On the other hand alum is the wrong chemical to obtain it. Alum is a salt what only dissociate in water, like other salt do, there is no sulfuric acid or other compounds. 3. The steel can only dissolved with hydrochloric or sulfuric...

1. Get from all the compounds the molar Masses, check PSE for this. 2. Write down the correct balanced chemical equation 3. From the given masses calculated the moles by using n=m/M 4. Then do comparison how many moles hydrochloric correspond to how many moles magnesium chloride. 5. How this number ...

I dont see calculation for mass fraction. You used mole fraction, do you?

The method is valid at 25°C, at other temperature it differs.
