Re: Calculate the amount of substance

Ok, it's a different question. Phosphorouspentoxide is existing bimolecular what means the real formula is P4O10.

The reaction is P4 + 5 O2 => P4O10 = 2 P2O5

But 4 mol is wrong, make no sense.

Re: balance eqution

The first part maybe may work. PET breaks in terepthalic acid and ethylenglycol. It is not Di-Benzoylterephthalate it is Di- benzylterephthalate what is used as additive https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ed080p79 The second one works different, you have to convert terepthalic acid with methanole to d...

Re: Will it react?

Can you calculate 1/2 + 1/3? In the same way you get the coefficients of the equation.

Re: Will it react?

It will, but the equation is not balanced.
Magnesiumphosphate will precipitate.

Re: Percentage by weight of a mixture

two equations

m(NaOH) + m(KOH) = 1.15 g

n(NaOH) +n(KOH) = 48.4 ml * 0.5 mmol/ml

use n =m/M

Re: balance eqution

Again this can not be answered with this Information. Tell the educts and the products.
C22H18O4 =?
C2H6O2 = ethylenglycole ?
CH3OH= methanole
C7H8O = ?
(C10H8O4)n =?

Re: chemical equilibrium

To add protons in chemistry means to acidify the solution, to add acid.

Dichromate and chromate are in Equilibrium

Cr2O7 2- + H2O <=> 2 H+ + 2 CrO4 2-

Re: Substituting Elements in Balancing Equations

Number 1 is correct
Number 2 is like in math 1/2 + 1/3
Number 3 is similar Number 2
Number 4 HSO4 as neutral not existing. Otherwise H2SO4 has to be used.

Re: Lead (II) nitrate to lead white pigment

You bake lead oxide not lead metal, fumes are less, but a good hood with ventilation would be solve that Problem.
