Thank you @ChenBeier.
Sorry I think balanced equation is
Mg(OH)2 + 2 CaCO3 + 2 H2O = Mg(HCO3)2 + 2 Ca(OH)2
I want to learn that according to this equation can I get magnesium hydrogencarbonate without cabondioxide?

Mg(OH)2 + CaCO3 + H2O = Mg(HCO3)2 + Ca(OH)2
Hello; According to balance chemical equation if I put magnesium hydroxide and calcium carbonate in water there is a reaction and magnesium bicarbonate and calcium hydroxide formed. Does this reaction occur under normal conditions just with distilled water and magnesium bicarbonate formed? If yes; M...

Re: How to make Sodium hydroxymethanesulfonate
Read again the Article, you get both. Got it @ ChenBeier. Na2S2O4 + 2 CH2O + H2O → HO-CH2-SO3Na + HO-CH2-SO2Na Molecular weight of Na2S2O4=174.1071 g/mol Molecular weight of CH2O=30.0260 g/mol Molecular weight of HO-CH2-SO3Na =134.0869 g/mol Molecular weight of HO-CH2-SO2Na =118.0875 g/mol Then if ...

Re: How to make Sodium hydroxymethanesulfonate
It can be produced also as byproduct from Dithionite https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rongalite Dear ChenBeier thank you for your reply. Rongalite is a Sodium hydroxymethanesulfinate, I am trying to produce sodium hydroxymethanesulfonate. Can I produce sodium hydroxymethanesulfonate from dithionite?

How to make Sodium hydroxymethanesulfonate
Hello; I am trying to synthesize sodium hydroxymethanesulfonate from formaldehyde and sodium metabisulfite. I know that when sodium metabisulfite dissolve in water it gives sodium bisulfite Na2S2O5 + H2O → 2 Na + 2 HSO3 Then how can i synthesize sodium hydroxymethanesulfonate with 37% formaldehyde s...

How do they seperate table salt (NaCl) from seawater
Sorry maybe it is stupid question but unfortunately I couldn't find the answer. I know that sea water is evaporated under the sun and salt is obtained. However, this resulting salt contains not only sodium chloride but also many other salts such as MgCl2, KCl, CaCl2... How do they separate sodium ch...

What is the mechanism of humate binder
Hello;
Some briquatte coal makers use humates for binding coal powders. How humates binds coal particles? What is the mechanism of it? Can humates be use any other materials for binding as glue?

Binder for clinoptilolite+bentonite mixture
Hello; I am trying to prepare granules from clinoptilolite+bentonite powder. I want to use it in soil so it must be moist and water proof and not loose their shape. Some sources said that bentonite has binding capability and stand in water but all of my test are failed even pure bentonite granules. ...

Re: Cation Exchange of Clinoptilolite-Na
No, Clinoptilolite is Na6(Si30Al6)O72·20H2O If you add sulfuric you will get SiO2, Al2(SO4)3 , Na2SO4. It destroy it. Thank you ChenBeier. So if I understand correctly there is no way to produce Clinoptilolite-H right? Is there any inorganic material that gives hydrogen rather than sodium as a dono...

Cation Exchange of Clinoptilolite-Na
Hello;
If you put clinoptilolite-Na in hard water, it exchange sodium with calcium and soften water.
If I put clinoptilolite-Na in dilute H2SO4 solution, does it exchange sodium with hydrogen? Can we make Clinoptilolite-H ?
Thank you.
