Acid and Bases Help

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong here? For the [H3O+] and [OH-], I'm calculating their pH by simply inserting the given numbers into the -log equation but I feel like that's wrong. How can I find the pH values for those ones? Thanks.

STP using combined gas law.

Hi guys so I am asked to calculate the volume of H2 collected at STP using the combined gas law. I have my numbers and all but I am confused on where to put it in the equation. The equation I'm using is V1=P2T1V2/T2P1. Where would I put the STP numbers in? That's the only part I'm confused about. Th...

Re: Ideal Gas Laws

Hmm.. I just inserted all the values into the equation V=nRT/P. I think I made a mistake though because I got a different answer to the one I wrote before. My new answer is 0.02746 L. Still wrong..

By the way, how did you get that equation? How did you come up with that thinking?

Another question:

A gas canister has the initial pressure of 1.00 atm at 55C then is refrigerated to -10C. What is the new pressure inside the canister?

Which laws am I using here?

Hey guys, I need help with this question. Super confused on it. Here it is: A balloon is inflated to 4.50 L with Helium, at a particular initial temperature and pressure. (It is tied off.) Now, assume that the temperatures and pressures referred to are always those prevailing inside the balloon. The...
