Check for redox reaction of Permanganate and oxalic acid. Discussed several times. Bariumsulfat is spectator.

Re: How to convert PPB to molarity?
No, you have a error of factor 10. The unit is also wrong what is M/l in your opinion.
M is mol/l. Not mol/ l^2.

Re: How to convert PPB to molarity?
There is no. %, ppm, ppb are parts of a mass unit. For volume you can estimate because 20 ppb is at least nothing. The solution is like water.

Re: How to covert PPB to molarity?
20 ppb = 20 mikrogramm/kg = 2*10^-5 g /kg / 207 g/ mol = 0,096 mikromol/kg= 9,66 * 10^-8 mol/kg ~ 1*10^-7 mol/l
For what you need density. It is an aquaeous solution and not solid lead.

Re: Balance Equation
First CuI2 is not existing. Only CuI is existing.
But nevertheless skip all spectator ions.
Oxidation is I- + 2 Cl- => ICl2- + e-
Reductiun is Ce 4+ + e- => Ce 3+

Re: Why doesn't Si + Wo3 ignite?
Why it should be. Acivation energy level is very high. But I think if you heat the mixture to some hundreds degree a reaction can take place. If silicon as a reducer is strong enough I dont know. Better use aluminium instead.

First reaction is develop Oxygen
2 HOCl => 2 HCl + O2
Second reaction is to develop chlorine if enough chlorid is produced
HOCl+ HCl => Cl2 + H2O

Re: Chemistry
The amount of HNO3 is not given. So not possible to calculate.
1. Develop the chemical equation, what is the product?
2. Read how much mole Al2O3 correspond to that product
3. How many mole of HNO3 you need?
4. If amount of HNO3 given then you can calculate the waste by difference.

Re: What happens when you mix Hypochlorous Acid and Vinegar?
To add other acid to HOCl it will change pH. The HOCl get more aggressive and releasing Oxygen, in small amounts also Chlorine. The smell is similar to swimmingpool water.

Re: mystery substance
NO. Dont use the solver without knowledge what is going on. The main reaction is the redox reaction Al and HNO3 HNO3 + 3 H+ + 3e- => NO + 2 H2O Reduction 2 Al + 3 H2O => Al2O3 + 6 H+ + 6 e- Oxidation 2 Al + 2 HNO3 => Al2O3 + 2 NO + H2O summery The oxid is able to react with HF or CH3COOH.
