Guys..I need some guidelines on this...It's kind of urgent...
If we add V2O5, H2O and EDTA...will EDTA reduce V5+ to V4+
If so what should be the optimal ratio of these three compounds to achieve the same...
how to decide?

Glucose/Sucrose to carbon..
Let Say we take 1 mole of glucose/Sucrose, then heat it up to 800 degree Celsius, Case-1 (Inert 95%Ar-5%H2 atmosphere) Case-2 (Air atmosphere) Case-3 (N2 atmosphere) then what reactions will happen in all those cases, and what will be the carbon content we will get in the final product in each case.
