Write the products for this reaction of an amino acid with the strong acid, Hydrochloric acid: H2N{-}CH2{-}CH2{-}COOH + HCl = ? I think its: H2N{-}CH2{-}CH2{-}COOH + HCl = NH4Cl + CH3CH2COOH But with a second look I thought maybe it's: H2N{-}CH2{-}CH2{-}COOH + HCl = H3NCH2CH2COOH+ + Cl- Help finding...
