two steps electrolysis

A system comprised of a water H2O ionizer may provide the OH(-) ions rich fluid for an electrolytic cell. U = voltage 2H2O+ U = H3O(+) + OH(-) I need help to understand what happen if Hydroxide ion OH(-) solution is subjected to electrolysis. It is possible the produce electrolytic H2 with low curre...

Freezing point of KNO3 solution

I need help to estimate the freezing point of 100 grams of KNO3 diluted in 15 liters of water.
Any reply is welcome!
Thank you!

Thank you for reply. I did the experiment. The slur burn on paper substrate with yellow flame and few sparks. I diluted the mixture in large amounts of water. I had no problem even if I electrolysed the aqueous mixture. The gases/liquid explode at open flame with a little more power than oxyhydrogen...

nitration

As non-chemist I learn that a mixture of sulphuric and nitric acids may nitrate glycerine to form nitroglycerine. My question is if a mixture of KNO3 salt and glycerine may react to form explozive mixture or can be stored and handled safely until the protonation will occur and conditions will be fur...

@GeorgeCamp
Not have a PEM, yet. I did the experiment with a carbon fiber separator. Gas evolve in the salt chamber at not measurable current from 3 volts. I will get a PEM and try again..Did you have any idea if will work to produce enough hydrogen to be useful as a fuel saver?

Hydrogen production

I wonder if reaction KNO3+2H3O=KOH=NHO3+H is possible to produce Hydrogen as gas and can be sustained by ionization of water ( 2H2O= H3O+OH) in a dual chamber reactor separated by a PEM.
