Hey oops my bad i meant 8.24 u can do the calculation :P Secondly, No it doesnt matter which is M1 or M2. It could be either one you just have to make sure that if you are considering stock solution as M1, V1 has to be the volume of vice versa. Or in other words, subscript 1 or 2 should refer to sam...

Hey
No Because molality DOES NOT depend on temperature But MOLARITY does. That is why in case of reaction where temperature change occurs, we use molality not molarity.
Hope that helps,

hey

use M1V1 = M2V2

so you hv
0.025 L * M1 = .103 * 2L
M1 = .103 * 2 / 0.025
M1= 8.24
The original stock shud be 8.25 M

Hope this helps,

Starting with balanced equation Pb(NO3)2 + 2 NaOH = Pb(OH)2 + 2 NaNO3 You see 1 mole of Lead nitrate reacts with 2 moles of sodium hydroxide. From the quesiton we have 20.59 g of lead nitrate so moles = 20.59 gm / 331.21 gm /mol = 0.0622 moles 1 mole of Lead nitrate reacts with 2 moles of sodium hyd...

I think it shud be dividing each element with the compound times 100 or..
For zinc-- 8.5 / 25 * 100
for copper-- 16.5 /25 * 100

hope this helps,

Hey,

Your equation should like
2 NaOH + CuSO4 = Cu(OH)2 + Na2SO4

Copper's most stable state is when it occurs as Cu(2+) NOt Cu(1+) that is less stable... so it shud rather be Cu(OH)2 than CuOH

Hope this helps,

Hey
Yes Upto what point I know,
it could be balanced as :
6 HgC2H3O2 + Fe2(CrO4)3 = 2 Fe(C2H3O2)3 + 3 Hg2CrO4

where products are Iron (III) Acetate and Mercury (I) Chromate

hope this helps,,

Hey to me NO2 structure doesnt make sense with the picture I have told you to look off :? because it has steric number of 2.5 so it shud look sumting like (:,:)O=N(., +1)-O(:,:,:, -1) so if that is confusing just try to draw it urself with O=N-O where 1st O has two lone pairs double bonded to N N ha...

Hey C3H8 + 5 O2 = 3 CO2 + 4 H2O So that is the equation and since you know that whenever a fuel burns it produces carbondioxide and water vapours. Even though you would not have known, you try to break the reactants, it is Carbon and Hydrogen and each of this going to react with oxygen. {carbon and ...

just a litle typo the Na2Cr2O3 is going to reduce to Cr(+3)
so it is going to be
3 C10H18O + Na2Cr2O7 + 4 H2SO4 = 3 C10H16O + 7 H2O + Na2SO4 + Cr2(SO4)3

Hey that is the correct reaction
C3H8 + 5 O2 = 3 CO2 + 4 H2O

In what sense you want to explain ? how you balance the reaction or how the overall reaction occurs?

Hey

Mg(OH)2 + 2 NaNO3 = 2 NaOH + Mg(NO3)2

Always remember to balance it using the balancer first before posting =) Not being mean lol just an advice
