CaI2 + Hg(NO3)2 = HgI2 + Ca(NO3)2
2 Al+3 Cl2=2 AlCl3
2 C2H2 + 5 O2 = 4 CO2 + 2 H2O
MgCl2 = Mg + Cl2
2H2O2 = 2H2O + O2

You can solve this problem by using the conservation of mass law:
Sum of products masses = Sum of reagent masses
Therefore:
m(O2) = m(CO2) + m(H2O)-m(CH4)

It is great that this topic finally has been brought to attention. Orbitals has been invented to simplify the math but become so frequently used that one might think they are backed by some physical reality. The truth is they are not. Here are some references to learn more about this topic: 1) Journ...

Re: Balancing equation

OK, under each question I wrote an unbalanced equation and if you click on it you will see it balanced. 1. Hydrogen and oxygen gas react to form water. H2(g) + O2(g) = H2O(l) 2. Potassium metal reacts violently with twater to form a basic solution of potassium hydroxide, releasing hydrogen gas. K(s...
