i am working on my homework and need to write and balance this equation.

Hydrogen Carbonate -> Water + Carbon Dioxide

i think it is written (HCO₃) -> H₂O + CO₂ but i can't balance it. i would be sooo happy if someone could help me

How about this way?
(H₂CO₃) -> H₂O + CO₂
